I can't understand a guy's ego.

I was reading a book on the bus to training yesterday evening and it was raining outside. This couple boarded the bus and the guy was holding on to the umbrella. Don't know why, the umbrella spring itself open and droplets of water hit my legs. I wanted to look up and give that guy a disgusted "tsk" look and expect an apology but decide to concentrate on my book instead. Then I heard the lady saying 'sorry' to me on behalf of her boyfriend. WTF?!!!? Be a man la! You are a guy and you need a girl to help you apologise for your mistake. Shame on you! Your ego-ness just speaks volume about your upbringing. WTH.
