I reckon I shall start posting about my trip before I forget most of the details.
Day 1: SIN -> HKG
I was having a severe headache the previous night after my last paper, so the packing was left till this morning. Left house at 10:30am to the airport and checked-in, SOP. By the time my plane took off, Wynne, Waifang, Cheryl, John and Nicholas was already in HK cos they took the 6am flight. I had Singapore Sling on the plane but my face betrayed me after 15 min. Watched Alice in Wonderland and Confucius. We headed straight to the hotel to meet the rest after we touched down. HoYin was already with them and they were playing MD... I missed out some fun. We went for claypot dinner at a nearby claypot eatery. The claypot rice was... very very nice and appetizing. We went to mongkok for shopping after that. Had double skin milk as dessert for the night. Bought lots of Vitasoy and went back to the hotel for debriefing before calling it the end of the day.

Day 2: HKG -> China (东莞)
Original plan was to send my GM off at the bus station but I decided to accompany her back in the end. We board the bus at Prince and met my grandaunt at 荃湾 before the bus head to the customs. The trip took about 3 hours before we reach our relative's place in China. Along the way to the customs, I saw a lot of oyster beds on the sea and they were much bigger than those in Fishville (FB). Ate roast goose rice noodles the moment we reached 东莞, the food that I had been craving for since the start of the trip. And the sad thing is, this super nice and delicious dish is not available in Singapore. This noodle has became a 'must-eat' for my family every time we go back back to China. Went to their market with GM, its like out wet market here. She bought a bag of lychee and we went back to my granduncle's shop to eat and chat. Along the way back, I saw the pet shop opposite selling piglets, cats and dogs in metal cages. A Chiwawa kept on looking at me with teary eyes as I walked past the shop. Haiz. Heartache when I see them being trapped in those metal cages. We proceeded on to my grandaunt's house for nap. Her house was pretty! Its like our condo here with swimming pool, security guards, a garden and everything that a condo has. It was my first time being there in summer. In the past, we used to go back during the winter season, which was shiok cos I like the cooling winter, but cannot really buy any clothes and winter air is not as fresh as summer air. My little cousins came and I played with them. Yong-er is so cute!!! But her bro is a little devil. Haha. Two years ago, I was baby sitting her bro for dinner and this year its her turn for me to baby sit. So cute la, like when I ask her to do anything she will just say 'yes, ok' (in Mandarin la). Dinner was good cos its home cooked! I got to know over dinner that my aunt actually has a blog shop and the shopping frenzy started to get into me all of a sudden. She let me browse through her web page and I was like 'do you have stocks over at your place?' Then she goes 'why not I bring you over to my place to take a look?' Haha. I ended up with big plastic bag of buys. Her apartment was only a few blocks away from grandaunt's, within walking distance. Before I left, Yong-er ran to me and gave me a goodbye hug =) So nice of her, but she would had already forgotten about me when I see her again in a few years time. Packed my stuff before I slept as I'm returning to HK on my own the next day. Sounds rush huh?
