Quick tip

Hey all, I'm so overjoyed now! Haha.

Ok, now, fresh from the oven, a tip to avoid the long queue at local polyclinics.

I needed to get some medication from the polyclinic this morning and I went there at 8.34am. There were lots of patients there, which was much expected on a Saturday morning. The health officers did the SOP. Asked me if I have flu, cough or fever. Happened that I was having running nose at the point of time and so I told them, yea, I got running nose. Immediately, they took my temperature, handed me a mask and asked me to procceed to level 2 for the measuring of blood pressure. And so, I did. My hands were full and I didn't put on my mask when I report to the level 2 counter. The nurse was like... '(to me, she repeated that for 3 times) pls put on your mask. (and to her assistant) next time must tell downstairs to ask them to put on before coming up.' Wa lao! I know la. Can't she see that my hands are not free? Can wait until I put down my things first or not? But that's all excuses la, I can put it on the moment I left the registration counter but I didn't want to. Haha. Ok, that's not the main point.

Main point is, I was directed to the Flu/Fever Clinic. The area looked so isolated... Only two patients were there waiting for their number to be called and I was one of them. While waiting, I peep over to the other side of the waiting hall and saw many un-masked patients waiting with their arms crossed. There were about 20 of them there? Soon, I went in to see the doctor and we both decided that it was not necessary to get any medicine. I went on to ask her for the prescription of the medication that I wanted and left.

I left the clinic after settling all the payment at 8.51am.

Super fast for a consultation at polyclinic right? Its even less than half an hour. I was surprised too cos I thought I had to wait for at least an hour or so. The next time you all need to go to polyclinic, the trick is to get them to direct you to the flu/fever clinic and that will save you alot of time. But the bottom line is you must have slight flu or cough and be willing to put on that ugly mask lor. Integrity please, if not everyone will be abusing this 'advantage'. (only valid for H1N1 period wor!)

All thanks to H1N1. Haha!

I was quite overloaded this week.

Bodyshop is having 60% sale at Plaza Sing atrium! The products are all in good condition and prices are much reduced by 10 or 20 bucks. It's a steal lor. Wonder when the promotion will end.

Tuesday and wednesday nights were occupied by TMC events. Chapter meeting and humorous speech contest. Both ended at about 11pm. SO late la! But its all worth it! I was the SAA for the chapter meeting and I was supposed to create atmosphere (搞气愤) during the self-introduction. How leh? I'm not very good at this kind of things. So, I decided to use the '12-inch clap' (ST people should know what I'm referring to =D ) to start the intro. And whoosh! The clapping was louder than if I had asked them to just clap! My genreral evaluator gave this comment to me: 'Great start to the meeting! 掌声比平时还要大声!'. Hehe.

Went for training on Thursday night and I forgot my kata movement! Wth. But the Sensi was very nice. Haha. Grading is coming. I will feel nervous whenever I think about that.

Yestday night we had dinner to celebrate kian yan's birthday. Went to yuki-yaki to try their DIY ice-cream. The buffet dinner was satisfying. ShiHui came to join us when we were having ice-cream. The night was quite crazy with all the chatting and joking =D Talked about the school days and all the insane things we did when we were in Damai and it all sounded so silly now.. haha. Sis is gettingher scholarship from mummy's association tonight! Happy for her =D

Four more hours to oasis and the first preview of the season!
