10 in 1

The past few days, 10 days to be exact, was MAD-ness.

I don't like the feeling of telling others that 'I'm busy' cos I think it sounds as if I'm trying to reject things that are coming my way. And I don't really like to explain why I'm busy to people who ask me what I'm busy with. Unless they are those whom I consider quite 'close' to me, then I don't mind telling them. You get what I mean? This is not directed to anybody.. it's just how I feel when someone I don't really know well asked me about my schedule. I feel that its quite... intruding.. yea.. but nvm..

Huiting and I went to Empire state again on last thursday after work. I had a sudden craving for the Boston brownie and suggested going back there to eat. And we just went. Empire state twice a week? That's so my first time of eating at the same restaurant twice in a week. The crab fat pasta and 4 cheese pizza was heavenly la. Cannot continue to write about it anymore cos that craving will come back to me again and who knows I might be eating there again tomorrow.

Went for my final theory e-trial last friday and did two tests but failed both. I was not even done reading half of the book. But its just a trial la, so dosen't really matter. At least I know what to expect for the actual test. Went to stay over at my cousin's place after that to sort out some stuff that we would be selling at our stall this coming saturday.

Gave tuition at Kembangan on saturday morning and I was already starting to feel the tiredness. Grandma started making her signature rice dumplings this morning and when I got back to her house, she was already done wrapping the first batch. So I helped to prepare the ingredients for the next day. Met up with Huiting and Tiffany in the evening at Parkway to develop photos and dinner. The photo booth queue was super long and I don't understand why people can stand and view their photos one by one(when they have like.. 1000 pics??!?!?) at the pc there when they can actually sit at home and view them comfortably on their computer. wth. I bought bubble tea from KOI cafe and drank half of it before leaving my seat to order food. Who knows that uncle just swiftly take and threw it in his bin while clearing our table when both Tiff and HT were sitting at the table... My pearls... I didn't even finish half of the chewy pearls and he just took it away like that!!! wth again. Bought famous amos cookies and went to mcdonals to chat.

Went over to gm's house on sunday morning and helped her to wash the dumpling leaves. It's a tough job man, really. I almost couldn't get up after sitting there and brushing each and every piece of the leaves for 45minutes. I tried making a few dumplings and this was how they looked. Compare those made by the 'shi fu' and the 'tu di'. Mine was like, so out of shape.. but after it's cooked, it looks the same.. Haha! But who cares? As long as what's inside tastes good =D Went for preview after that and guessed who I saw? Roseann, Raeann and her sister Sophie. Had a great time catching up with both of them =D Aunty Theresa came too. After preview, we brought her to bugis to buy the things she wanted to get and after that went to starbucks to transfer files.

work of the master VS disciple

one whole basket of dumplings!!! & my dumplings after they are boiled =D looks good right? the taste is even better!

the twins and I =D

Monday was a whole day of work and scrapbooking after work. Nothing much.

Tuesday was 1st day of NAC. Saw Ken while queuing for registration with mummy. The expo hall ws really cold. Tested and proven. Somehow, expo seem to remind me of my exams everytime I go there, even though they are over alr. Robert Kiyosaki started the day and he brought with him his Rich Dad team plus special guest appearance of his sister. Was quite boring at first but things gets more interesting after a while. Got to leave for bukit batok in the middle of the talk and went back in the evening to see them wrapping up for the day. Shag. East to west and west to east. You're welcome Peter.

Wednesday - 2nd day of NAC. The emcee was super high la. She was typically a screaming women. Donig all the transitions by screaming at the top of her voice. But that's where we get all the energy for the congress. I was sitting at my seat and saw this mediacorp artist -- Nick Shen -- walking past right infront of me. Don't know if that name rings a bell to you but I remembered that he acted as a teacher in the Xiao Hai Bu Ben tv series. He used to be my idol when I was in sec sch, hehe. At that moment, I thought to myself, it's not too bad afterall, attending the congress and getting to see quite a few famous people, haha. Afterall, today was more useful than yesterday. As in, the things that Mr Kiyosaki shared with us was more practical [than ytd] and I can really apply that if I want to. Kelly Ritchie shared the 8 reasons why businesses fail and they are all quite true. Mummy and I left for lunch at T3. Haha. Had a gathering with my clique in the evening at tampines. Really like catching up with them. Everyone is like, separated now.. and its always during this kind of gatherings that brings back all the wonderful school days memories =D

Dunno why I'm always on the left..

Stayed over at gm's house on wednesday night and had a really wonderful and undisturbed sleep. Finally can rest and relax alr. Had lunch with my uncle and Jean at old airport. We went to see cats at this pet shop at frankel ave. The cats there are so so so so so CUTE!!! [except Persian cats, i think they looked really ugly] We saw Norwegian forest and British shorthair. Oh, I tell you ah, the British shorthair cats are so CUTE that they looked very fake. I think the Norwegian forest breed is the most elegant of all. My uncle had his eyes on two norwegian forest but they cost $1500 each. (O.o) Too much of an investment la. Top-up a few more $$$, can go for skws liao.

Norwegian Forests =D

British Shorthair. Fake like soft toy right? =P

I passed my FTT today! I think the passing mark was low lor. Cos I knew I had more than 5 incorrect answers. But I still passed in the end! Got my PDL afterthat and finally can start driving lessons le. Mummy let me drive daddy's car at the carpark just now, my braking was so sudden that all the boxes stacked at the back of the car collapsed =X More practice needed.

P.S. This post took me 2 hours to write, phew...
