I always find new year preparations fun and exciting. On the night before the first day of lunar new year, we get to wash our floor with some acid and it will look *sparkling* clean right after the wash. We also get to prepare vegetarian food for the guest. Grandma's cooking always win praises every year, this year is no doubt. We played mahjong throughout the night and watched little nyonya dvd till 6am before everyone k.o. Went to visit mother-side relatives in the afternoon and played a few rounds of a game which I don't know how to play. But managed to win some wor. Haha. I realised that new year every year was somehow, spent the same way. All the routine visitings and questions that relatives will ask. All these "where are you now? how did you do for your exams last year? where are you planning to apply? etc, etc, etc." Whatever la. Sounds super familiar right? It will be great if I can spend my new year overseas, at least with my whole family. It will definitely be a different experience. =D
