Haha. Last Sunday was so eventful. Woke up and studied for a while (study leh, how long have I not been doing that? jk. =D) before preparing for my family outing. We went for a ride at the Singaproe Flyer. But it rained right after we boarded our tour bus. Quite sad huh? Rain = cannot see anything clearly when we are up there in the sky. But thankfully, it kind of stopped when we reach Marina. Surprisingly, there were not many people there. We got a whole capsule to ourselves, that's so cool la, I should have asked mummy prepared more food to eat in the capsule(we only brought a box of cut fruits there, though I'm not sure if we are allowed to eat inside or ont, but who cares? Got camera so what? They can't do anything to you when you are up there.. haha!) We took damn lots of pictures up there, although there is nothing much to see. The F1 tracks and audience seats area was in a mess, IR site on the other side was still under construction, could only see the Marina barrage, CBD buildings and the various hotels in the city area. Oh, the floating platform became a football field and Joshua was asking 'what if they kicked the ball into the sea?' Haha. Then too bad for them lor. The whole ride lasted for about 40 mimutes. Quite fast actually.

The ride entrance.

Another entrance to clear before boarding. They will take your photo for you. Each photo costs SGD $15.
Boarding our capsule. There are 28 capsules in total and each capsule can hold 28 people. We were given 6 to a capsule. Haha. At least there's some privacy(besides the cameras in the capsule).

The compass on the ceiling of the capsule.

The floating platform where NDP for the recent years were held. But it has become a football field.

F1 audience seats when we were at 1/2 the altitude of the flyer.

When we were reaching maximum altitude of 165m above sea level.

With grandma =D Look at the tall buildings behind =D

Marina barrage.

The IR model. Its actually placed on the ground. Saw that as our ride came to an end.
I left the place earlier for preview. LUCKILY I did not follow the tour bus as I was wondering if they could drop me off at city area when they are going back to Mountbatten CC. They actually went to Jurong, Qian Hu fish farm la! When I got back home, my bro and sis was saying 'luckily you never follow the bus, it went straight to the ECP then all the way to Clementi then to Jurong.' Apparently, grandma wasn't aware that the trip includes going to the fish farm, we all thought that we were only going to the SG flyer. Haven't had such family outing since so many years ago. Really had lots of fun lor.
Went to geylang east library to look for daddy after preview. Wanted to borrow a few books but forgot to bring my wallet out today.. sad la.. (wallet can also forget lor!) After that, the whole family went grocery shopping at Parkway giant. Canned food super ex. Didn't get much things in the end.
